Hello, I am a friend of Mr. Aqeel Chalabi (Hajj Nizar) and his family. Aqeel passed a few days ago, and we would like to raise funds to help with funeral expenses, as well as to assist his wife and three children with bills for a few months.
Aqeel was loved by everyone that met him; he never failed to put a smile on your face. There was never a time that you would see him upset, he always made sure that the people around him were laughing and relaxed. Aqeel worked hard every single day to support his family and would’ve done anything for them and others in his life. In his free time, he loved tending to his plants all around the house. He was always excited to share the fruits he grew and would tell you a fact about the plant in the process. His passion would have you hanging on to every word, and finding yourself just as interested. Any time you entered his home, Aqeel would greet you with open arms, and make sure you were fed and comfortable.
Everywhere he went, people were smiling. Whether that was because of his smile or the jokes he made, no one would leave his presence without having a smile on their face. His priority was always to make the people he loved and everyone around him happy.
He leaves behind countless people who will all remember him for the light that he brought into our lives.
