Hi, my name is Ger. Mahmoud and Doaa and their two boys, Yousef and Yazan, first entered my life over two years ago. At the time, they were penniless and struggling to put food in their children's mouths. I remember times at the start when they were too ashamed to let me know they had gone without food, until the children couldn't bear it anymore. In that two years, the family have lost everything they ever possessed in the world. They were left with the clothes on their back, moving from place to place, in the hope of some security. Now they are living in a house with no windows, but it is a roof over their head. It costs them $1000 per month for rent. Ramadan has arrived and the prices in the markets have skyrocketed again. Please support our appeal, so the family can afford the rent each month, so they are not thrown out on the streets yet again. So they can afford to celebrate Ramadan and feed and clothe their children. So they can continue to educate their children and cover the costs of the books etc. These are basic essentials that we all tke for granted, but they quickly become luxuries without your help
