Help a Family Through Surgery and Healing

Hi! I am a single mom about to have disc replacement surgery on my spine in my neck due to a herniated disc causing a pinched nerve; I need help raising money for the 4 months I will be out of work after the surgery while waiting for disability to make a decision on benefit qualification. They said it could take up to a year. I live alone with my 2 sons and my 2 dogs and cat. I am the primary caregiver to all of them, and am not known to not work. After this surgery I will be in a neck brace for 6 weeks, and not able to work for 3 months after that.

We’re looking into the holidays now with that outcome. I wasn’t able to give my boys a real Christmas last year because I was in school full time and only working weekends. (I graduated July 2nd, 2024) I really don’t want them to miss out again because of this injury. I also need to be able to keep up with rent and bills, of course.

I absolutely hate the fact that I have to break down and do this, but I am literally desperate at this point and I don’t have time to wait for SSI to make their decision. Any little bit helps, if I reach my goal that would be amazing and my boys would be just fine while I am healing. Thank you so much for taking the time to read all this, I know it was long lol
