Please help! Family had a tragic car accident

My good friend Amanda had tragedy strike her family last night. Her son Kyle was killed and his fiancé Traci, along with their 4 children were severely injured in a horrific car accident in Louisiana. Traci is in the hospital with a splenic laceration, broken hips/pelvis, and multiple fractures to her spine with some numbness and decreased movement to one of her legs. She is scheduled for surgery later today. Their 11 month old, Henley, was ejected and found under the truck with a traumatic brain injury, extensive skull fractures with some brain bleeding and swelling. Her C6-C7 is fractured, all but 2 ribs are fractured and is on the ventilator with chest tubes to each lung. She is sedated to keep her calm and out of pain, but not too much that she can’t respond. She is trying to breathe over her ventilator, opening her eyes at times, grimacing, and she is moving all her extremities when they lower her sedation. Her pupils are equal and reactive. She is responding and a little fighter, but she is in critical condition with some extreme injuries to her little body.

 

Please give whatever you can to help Amandas family pay the unexpected funeral expenses for Kyle and for the future financial needs of the family as they face a very long, difficult road ahead.
