Help a Family Stay in Their Home for Christmas

Hi! My name is Kristin, and I'm fundraising for a momma (and her family) that could really use a village right now. They are doing the best they can, but as the old saying goes, "when it rains, it pours!"

Unfortunately, it was almost like a perfect storm at the completely wrong time, but long story short, they need our help catching up on back rent. The landlord is expected to formally submit the five-day notice of eviction by Friday, which means they must come up with the rent ASAP or risk being homeless by the holiday. No one deserves to be in this position; plus, they have three kids, and they all deserve the stability of a home "safe" space.

Mom has done her best to get assistance through county programs, but the most promising one dragged its feet for weeks and ultimately told her to seek help elsewhere. It's now at the point that any other public resource available will take longer to receive than she has time for.

Both mom and dad have recently gotten jobs and will receive income within the next week or two, which means they will be back on their feet soon. I know that they got this!

But in the meantime, I want to help them get caught up on the rent so it is one less thing for them to stress about during an already stressful season. I hold this family close to my heart because one of the three kiddos is besties with my daughter.
