UPDATE: My dad is being emitted to the hospital. His cancer has progressed a little and the news has taken a huge emotional and mental toll on my fmaily. At the moment we're trying our best to make sure he okay. Doctors say theres still a chance to fight it! I hope and pray that evrything turns out okay.

His cancer Story/Journey

This is my dad. He's goofy, funny and welcomes everyone with a warm smile. He adores our two cats and even loves watching his favorte soccer ball team! La America!. No matter the situaiton he always seems to try to brighten somoens day even with some dad jokes or unquie stories he tells about when he was growing up.

His story starts a few years ago, my dad was diagnosed with stage five skin cancer (Melanoma), which at the time not only scared my family, but he got treatment for and an operation where we thought he’d be cancer-free. Years passed by, and he noticed a few bumps on his inner thigh which began to enlarge every other day he’d go to work. No pain, just growing bigger. He landed in urgent care with my mom since she was feeling sick that day and suggest he’d get those large growing bumps checked by a doctor. Luckly, a really kind doctor checked on him and told him to get a scan done and after a couple more weeks later was operated on by a surgeon. A couple of weeks later, his surgeon called him in for the news. His cancer was back, but this time it was stage 4. Even though it wasn't stage five anymore, I couldn’t help but cry for hours and weeks thinking his melanoma was back. It was devastating news for my family especially for my dad. His face went blank and pale for a second when me and my mom saw him. He was heartbroken thinking he was cancer free but now it was back

All those years we thought he was cancer free was actually just the beginning of another devastating nightmare. He was put on chemo and has been struggling to maintain himself ever since. He doesnt let his sickness stop him though, he fights and even continues to still work knowing he has cancer. Now thats hes getting emitted its gunna be a litt le harder since my dad will be in the hosptial. My family is devastated on the news but are happy hes gettign better treatment. Its overwelming not jsut to me but to my mum since wont be seeing him so much. Im currertly trying to find a second job to help manage bills and other stuff at home. My mother has gone through surgery due to an accident that happened a couple years ago as well so I'm trying my best to provide what I can. I’m not asking for much but anything is appreciated to help my parents. I just want my goofy family to smile and be goofy again. Thank you and god bless you all. ^~^
