Help a Family Reunite With Their Young Children

Donation protected
A practicing Muslim family in our community has endured an incredibly painful year as they work toward reunification with their three young children—just one year plus , three years, and five years old at the time of separation. Following an unexpected accident, their children were temporarily placed in foster care. This sudden separation has been devastating, yet the parents remain patient, faithful, and fully committed to bringing their children home.

The emotional toll has been severe. In the early weeks, the mother experienced serious emotional and physical distress that required medical care and ongoing treatment. The father, a hardworking member of the struggling middle class, lost his second job during this period while continuing to comply with every requirement asked of them.

Despite everything, they have remained resilient. They have followed every step required of them and continue to do everything within their power to reunite their family.

At the same time, the financial burden has become overwhelming. They are facing significant rent arrears, legal expenses, mounting credit card debt, and the basic costs of maintaining stability during this difficult period. These financial pressures have made an already painful situation even more difficult.

One of the children has also faced medical challenges and continues to need care and support, while the other two, alhamdulillah, remain healthy. The foster family caring for them has been supportive, and the parents remain deeply grateful that their children are safe.

For nearly a year, the parents refused to ask for help. They have always been the kind of people who give quietly and support others. But the weight of this situation has made it impossible to carry alone. They have fallen behind on rent and legal costs and have relied on the limited support of close friends to get through.

Now, they need their community.

Your support will help cover essential expenses, including:
Rent and housing stability
Legal fees required for reunification
Basic living expenses
Debt accumulated during this period of crisis

Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease their burden and allow them to focus on what matters most—bringing their children home.

As we enter the blessed month of Ramadan, a time of mercy, compassion, and sadaqah, your support can make a direct and meaningful difference for this family.
