I am reaching out to ask for some help for my son, James, his wife, Lauren, and their two little boys.

Over the course of 24 hours, Brunswick County, NC—where they live—was pummeled with over a foot of torrential rain. Overnight, the tide came in, causing catastrophic flooding through their neighborhood.

James & Lauren have suffered tremendous loss. Their lovely home, which is less than 2 years old, will require extensive demolition, mold mitigation, and rebuilding.

They have lost one of their family cars, furniture, the boys' shoes, clothing, and toys.

Sadly, their insurance agent told them they did not need flood insurance, and the cost was high: all of the costs to put their home back together will have to come out of pocket.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to cover the costs of demo and mold mitigation so that these little boys can go home and sleep safely in their own beds!
