Help a Family Replace Their Broken AC

Hi, my name is Mike Zwilling and I’m starting this GoFundMe to help a close friend, Casey Duffey and his family replace their broken air conditioner.

He’s 52 and has been dealing with serious health issues from diabetes, including the loss of his leg and kidney complications. He’s on disability and lives with his wife, who works full-time, and their granddaughter. The heat has made things especially hard on his breathing and mobility.

Their central AC is completely down, and the estimate to replace just the outdoor unit is $4,500 — much less than the commercial quotes they received. Two window units are doing their best, but they can’t keep up with the summer heat.

Before his health declined, he worked at JPMorgan Chase for 10 years and did everything he could to support his family. He still tries to contribute by reselling items online, but they’ve exhausted their savings due to medical costs.
