Help a Family Recover from Medical Emergencies

Donation protected

Hello, I am a mother of a beautiful daughter with a warm heart and a beautiful soul. She is 38 years old and married to a wonderful man of 17 years.

They have three boys, ages 9, 6, and 3. My daughter is a stay-at-home mommy, and her husband drives a trash truck.

My daughter was 7 months pregnant and had preeclampsia, where her blood pressure would go up and down, putting her and the baby's life in danger.

Her doctors agreed the best thing was to do an emergency C-section on November 5th. The baby was only 3 pounds but doing well. The day after the C-section, my daughter started having so much pain, worse than any she had ever felt before. They took her in for emergency surgery. She had an Artery Bleed. Her stomach was filling up with blood. They found where that was coming from and were hoping the blood would be absorbed back where it belonged. It didn't happen, so another emergency surgery was needed to remove 11 liters of blood. My sweet girl was in a medical coma. I went in to see her. She was so cold, and she wad on a ventilator. Her eyelids were taped shut. It was terrible to see her like that. Through so many prayers from so many people, she is out of the coma and on her way to recovery.
Daddy doesn’t get paid Maternity Leave. Or even FMLA. His company is too small. He will have to take many days off without pay.
The baby will be in the hospital til probably January. So they will have many back and fourth days.
Mommy is well on her way to feeling better. But still is being monitored closely.

Mommy will be released from the hospital after a while, and the baby will stay in the hospital.

It's going to be so hard on them, running back and forth to the hospital.

We are fundraising to support my daughter and her family during this difficult time.

We are raising funds for my daughter, her husband, and their four boys to help cover medical expenses and daily needs while she recovers and the baby remains in the hospital.

The baby came so fast. They don’t even have a car seat. Bed, cloths, diapers for the new little man.

Mommy has got to go home. With an emptiness inside her. She is still having lots of pain. These funds will be used for travel back and fourth to the hospital daily. And for essentials for the baby. He needs everything. Thank you for helping. It means so much.
