Help a Family Recover from a Near Moose Collision
Donation protected
On October 27th, in the early morning after traveling back home to the White Mountains from a family event, our truck was destroyed. A moose came out of the woods, causing us to swerve to avoid hitting the moose. With slippery rain/snow mix conditions on the road, we slid off the main highway of Route 2, (only 5 minutes from home) and into a gully; incredibly missing the telephone pole & tree line. Thankfully, all four of us were miraculously able to walk away with bumps and bruises.
As most know, we recently just had our son, who will be 2 months old on November 7th. With having a 5-year-old daughter already who we drive to school, newborn doctor appointments, and having to return back to work from maternity leave, being without a vehicle in the mountains could not have come at a worse time.
This money will go towards a down payment for a new vehicle for the family.
Even if you can’t donate, a share goes a long way. Thank you all and stay safe and blessed.
& Remember to ALWAYS brake for moose. It could save your life!
