We couldn't escape as we became surrounded by 18 tanks. We came out in front of the tanks and raised the white flag as civilians. My father was shot by the occupation forces, and they prevented him from receiving medical aid, leading to his martyrdom in front of the tank. My mother was shot in her shoulder and back, and my older sister was hit by numerous shrapnel in her hand, severing her tendons.

We remained trapped for 15 days in a house we didn't know, without medical aid or supplies, without food or water, without medicine or painkillers. We had to use some cloth from our clothes to cover my mother's bleeding wound until worms started appearing from her body.

There were no medicines or medical equipment, and her condition worsened day by day.

My mother also suffers from high blood pressure and is now taking expired medication due to the shortage of medicine in northern Gaza.

Time is running out as the border may open at any moment, giving us a brief window of opportunity to get them the help they need.
