My name is Skye-Maree Austin. fund raising on behalf of Clare Byrne (sister in-law also beneficiary of this fundraiser) and family.

On the 19th of July 2025, a heartbreaking house fire took everything from my children's Grandfather, Aunty, and Father. Their home, belongings, memories, and tragically, a much loved family pet.

They escaped with only the clothes on their backs. Everything my boys Grandfather and Aunty own.. is gone. Everything my children’s father owns including things he had for our boys, Clothing, toys, bedding.. is gone. They now face the enormous challenge of starting over with nothing.

There was no insurance to cover their loss. Like so many families, the cost of living made it impossible to afford house and contents insurance, despite understanding how important it is. Sadly, this is something that cannot be changed now.

I’m hoping to raise funds to help them get back on their feet, to buy clothing, essential items, and begin the long journey of rebuilding their lives. Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world and go directly to supporting them during this extremely difficult time.
