Help a Family Rebuild After Altadena Fire

Our family recently experienced an unimaginable loss when our home was completely destroyed in the devastating Altadena fire. We lost not just our home but also all of our belongings and the memories we made in our humble home. While we are grateful to be safe and all the support we've received through our amazing extended family, we're now facing the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding our lives. We weren't rich, we're a low income family who were already struggling for a couple of years now. My mom and I were the only source of income while my mom's partner has been out of work due to the fact that he's currently battling cancer and unable to work.

The fire swept through our neighborhood leaving us with only a few changes of clothes that we were able to pack while we were fleeting our home around 3:30am on January 8th. Our rental home and everything inside it- clothes and sentimental items were completely destroyed.

We're a family of five, myself, my mom, her partner, and my two brothers. We're hoping these funds raised will help us secure temporary housing, replace essential items like clothing and medical supplies, and help us rebuild what we lost. We understand we are not the only ones facing these challenging times. We really do appreciate any contributions towards us rebuilding our lives no matter the size.

Again, we are truly so grateful for the support we have received so far by our family and would like to take the time personally thank every single one of them who has called or visit us to see how we are doing, donated items, who have sheltered us and fed us these past few days. We know we are luckier than most for this. Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us.
