Hello everyone, this has been a very eventful past 6 months, one day I was feeling great, the next day i was on the floor curled up in pain. Being a typical guy, I refused to go see the doctor until one day, about 2 months later, I woke up on the hallway floor, I had blacked out, it was then my fiancé loaded me up and off we went. It was after all the testing when we got the news that something was growing in my pancreas. After more test with an amazing specialist team, I was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer, I had cancer causing growths that some were cancerous and the other ones were turning cancerous as well. I had lost over 125lbs, I was to week to have surgery so I was put on tube feed and finally, after 6 weeks, gained enough weight to have surgery. So finally, I had received the Whiple surgery. Removed half my pancreas, hooked up what was left and re-routed some internals. After about 9 hours of surgery, I woke up with lines running everywhere and confused but happy to be alive. I have 6 kids that needed me to stay.
Needless to say, I have bills over do and I’m facing loosing everything I’ve busted my butt for.
My fiancé took 3 months off work to take care of me because I was literally knocking on heavens door.
People that know me will tell you straight up tell you that I will do anything for anyone at anytime anywhere. I hate asking for help but this whole deal has taught me that it’s okay to ask for help. I’m sorry that most of you are just now finding out what’s going on with me. We have kept it a secret because I was within 2 weeks of not making it.
Anything will help and every will be greatly appreciated, please share this, I’m hoping this will be the good karma that I hear about !!!… I love you all and god bless you and your family. Love you.
