Help a Family of 6 Rebuild After a Fire Destroys Their Home

On November 14th, Hayley, James, and their four children—Phoenyx (15), Olivia (12), Stone (6), and Blaze (5)—experienced an unimaginable tragedy when a devastating fire ravaged their home in Riverview, New Brunswick.

Although the family and their pets are safe, the fire, along with extensive smoke and water damage, destroyed their home in a matter of minutes. The scope of their loss is overwhelming. In addition to losing all their belongings, they also lost irreplaceable sentimental items, including the ashes of both Hayley and James' fathers, as well as the remains of their beloved dog, Casey. The damage to their home is so severe that it will take anywhere from six months to a year to repair. During this difficult time, they are also navigating complex insurance claims while striving to keep their children’s spirits up.

Hayley and James are two of the kindest, most compassionate, and resilient people I know. They are exceptional parents to their four amazing children and always go above and beyond for others. While they would never ask for help, they are in urgent need of support as they work to get back on their feet.
