My name is Kimberley and I live in Scotland. Since March 2024 I have been speaking almost daily with four extraordinary sisters in Gaza — Sham, Hadeel, Heba, and Malak. Over countless messages and calls, I’ve come to know their warmth, their brilliance, their humour, and their dreams.

*UPDATE* We are currently focusing our fundraising on 3 of the sisters Hadeel, Heba and Malak who all have offers to study at Glasgow university in September 2026 to complete their masters ♥️

Today, they are trapped in the middle of a genocide. Their homes shake from bombings, food and water are scarce, and their futures are under constant threat. I am determined to help them escape to safety and secure scholarships so they can continue their education and careers.

Hadeel – A dedicated nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science. She has devoted her life to caring for others, but now struggles to find basic medicine or safety for herself.

Heba – A passionate English teacher with diplomas in Executive Secretary and English Teaching Methods. Before the genocide, she tutored children at home, helping them discover their voices. Now her work is impossible, and survival is her only focus.

Malak – A qualified primary school teacher with a Bachelor’s in Basic Education. She once taught Arabic and foundational subjects to children, building their futures. Now, she fights simply to see another day.

Sham – The sister tirelessly searching for scholarships and opportunities abroad for her family. She refuses to give up hope, even while living under daily bombardment and blockade.

These are not faceless victims — they are highly educated, talented women who believe in education, equality, and a better future for their community. They have so much to give, but their lives are being stolen by relentless violence and oppression.

This is not just about survival — it’s about saving futures. These women have dedicated themselves to helping others and to lifting up the next generation. They deserve the chance to live without fear and to rebuild their lives in freedom and dignity.
