Help Carrie Ward & Family Rebuild After Wildfire

My family of 5 just lost our entire house and all of our belongings, to the Park wildfire currently ravaging Northern California. While we are very thankful that we all made it out safe, which is truly the most important thing, we were only able to do so with the clothing on our backs. Through donations, we are hoping to restart our lives and appreciate any kindness that comes our way during this incredibly difficult situation!

Update: Unfortunately, 7 weeks ago, our insurance of 11 years decided to no longer cover our area and dropped us, along with 60% of our neighbors apparently .

We did start the basic plan for minimal fire coverage in our state while our insurance agent was continually working to find new primary insurance coverage. However, even more unfortunate is the fact that the minimal coverage is currently denying coverage (due to a recently added loop-hole) to many who just lost their homes. While we are all fighting this, it will most likely be awhile before any help, if any, comes our way.

Until then, we are relying on help from generous friends and donors in order to begin getting basic necessities such as clothing, shoes, mattresses, bedding, utensils/cookware etc., and other basic essentials needed for sleeping, eating, and moving forward with our new lives. Any and all help is beyond greatly appreciated!
