Help a family in their deepest time of need

It's never easy hearing you're sick.

 

ESPECIALLY when you're a single mom of 4 kids, during the holiday season AND when your sickness requires a surgery - which will keep you out of work for a few weeks - RIGHT as your lease is ending and your family will need new housing.

 

This is the current real life story of my dear friend Heather. She and her sweet kids have been family to us and we love them so much!

 

Heather had been working around the clock to provide for her kids but when life threw her this curve ball we realized it was time to take action.

We've taken them into our home to help in every way we can. However, we are now needing to reach out to our friends and community to pool more resources during this holiday season. 

 

We are leveraging GoFundMe and asking you to contribute whatever you're comfortable with so that we can provide as much assistance as possible. Any amount will be greatly appreciated.

If you are even able to give a minimal amount then I know that we'll be able to help Heather:

•Get her surgery

•Have a clear enough head to calmly figure out where they will be living come January

•Get her car fixed so she can bring her 4 kids around town

•See the smile on her kids' faces when there are a couple gifts under the tree on Christmas morning

Heather received her surgery but a couple days into recovery she took a turn for the worse.
Unfortunately there was a complication and she had to undergo an emergency operation. 

She is now recovering and moving in the right direction.
