Local family in need of help

Last week a dear friend, Doni Rust, a Lewes, Delaware resident lost her husband, Bryan and their 2 young sons lost their dad suddenly and tragically. Doni is left to navigate not only the intense loss but also left to care for 2 young children alone and on a single income and needs the help of the community. Bryan contributed financially to the family and took care of all of the exterior maintenance including pool and hot tub maintenance and Doni has been unable to sleep due to the worry of not only losing her husband but the weight of losing his income and caring for her children and all the responsibilities she never had to worry about.

Our community has been so incredibly supportive with gift cards, meals provided, and shoulders to lean on. I am asking for this generosity to continue for the following needs by donating to this fund or providing the following:

-Snow plowing/shoveling for the winter season

-Lawn Care/cuts for the warmer season

-Car mechanic to work with securing future general maintenance

-house cleaning services

-gift cards/monetary donations for entertainment for the family (Lefty's, Movies At Midway, Shell we Bounce, Waterpark tickets)

-gift cards or monetary donations for grocery shopping

-gift cards or monetary donations for gas/home fuel

-education for the boy’s future and well being

If any local organization or individual feels led to donate, Doni and her family would be most appreciative and this will take the weight off of her shoulders to concentrate on caring for the boys and unexpectantly being forced into a one-income family. Thank you!!!
