A fire broke out on Sunday, February 20, and Brenda’s home in Northern Reno, NV, caught fire, leaving nothing but ashes. We are relieved to know that the fire hurt no family or persons. However, Brenda, her partner Sergio, and her two children, ages 10 and 4, had to rush to escape the fire and were unable to grab any personal belongings. They now must begin the painstaking process of grieving for what they had and begin on the path of rebuilding their lives. All personal belongings, including their vehicle, were destroyed.
They need immediate funds to serve the purpose of:
- temporary housing
- deposit for long long-term housing
- clothing, jackets, & shoes
- food
- school supplies
- reliable vehicle costs (vehicle, insurance, and taxes)
- housewares & furnishings
We are also running a Clothing and Toy drive to help rebuild in any way possible. We are very grateful for any donations, so please support them in any way you can.
We are looking for clothes in the following sizes:
- Son, age 10, size 10 in pants, shoe size 7 in men.
- Daughter, age 4, size 4T, shoe size 9.
- Brenda, Size M in pants and shirt, shoe size 7-7.5.
- Sergio, size 33-34 in pants, size 11 shoes.
We are also accepting toys and school items for their kids.
All donations can be dropped off at:
