Help a Family in Hawaii Overcome Crisis

This is the last thing we wanted to do. I am a caretaker for my dad who has Alzheimer’s disease. The state is failing him right now. His quest Medicare insurance was cut off 6 months ago and he needs multiple surgeries. I take care of him 24/7. On top of him having Alzheimer’s he is dying right in front of me because he needs a surgery on Oahu and I can’t afford to pay for it. I’ve tried calling every agency, even ones off island… with absolutely zero help. I have tried re-applying him for medquest. With denial over and over again. He gets 2,500 dollars in social security. Which makes him over the limit for QUEST insurance. He is not allowed to put me or my family under him since he is an adult. On top of caring for him, I have 3 children, and a brother with autism who we are all surviving off that single income of 2,500 dollars a month, I cannot get a job because if I did that then my father would be left alone and isn’t capable of being left unattended even for a second. he requires 24 hour care. If you live in Hawaii and are a family you know that income is not even enough for 2 people let alone 5 people. We get zero help from family. Zero income from child support since the father of my kids are absent and they cannot find him to make him pay child support. my bank account is negative. I have dept around 8 thousand dollars and his medical bills keep piling up, Which is why I’m asking for so much. I need the money in order to bring my entire family to Oahu (since I have no family to watch my kids, for my fathers surgery, hotel stays, and rides there and back, and of course medications and after -surgery care.

we are unable to pay anything . I am hoping I can get a little help from the community. We barely have food, adult diapers, necessities to survive and I’m hoping the right person will see this and even if you have nothing to share we would appreciate the share.
