Hello, my name is Akram Al-Azib. I live in the city of Gaza with my family. My wife is Jawaher Al-Nuwairi, and we have four children: Abdullah, the eldest, Mohammed, Youssef, and finally our only daughter, Shahd. We are a close-knit family and enjoy spending time together on family trips and various activities.

However, after the devastating war, our lives turned upside down. Our neighbors' house was bombed, and as a result, our home was destroyed as well. We miraculously survived, and up to that point, leaving Gaza never crossed my mind. But after our city was invaded on the 8th of June, and witnessing the massacre that took the lives of our relatives and friends, I seriously started considering leaving Gaza in search of safety.

War shattered my world, turning my once peaceful home into a battleground. The loss of my house, a place filled with memories and comfort, was a devastating blow. Each day was a struggle for survival amidst the chaos and destruction. Despite the overwhelming hardship, a desire to rebuild my life emerged. I made the difficult decision to leave my homeland in search of peace and a fresh start. Now, standing on the brink of a new beginning in a different country, I am filled with hope and determination. The journey has been arduous, but I am ready to create a future free from the shadows of conflict, cherishing the opportunity to start anew began.
