Help a Family in Crisis: Dog Surgery & Home Infestation Reli

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but our family is in a difficult place, and we could use your help.

In a matter of weeks, we were hit with two emergencies: our dog needed urgent surgery, and our home was overrun with fleas that required multiple rounds of professional treatment.

The infestation spread to our car, and we have a baby at home — so we had no choice but to act immediately and will likely have to treat again in two to three months when eggs hatch. Apparently the life-cycle is the big challenge. I’ve learned more than I’d ever wanted to about fleas…yay.

We’ve already paid for the surgery and pest control, but we’re feeling the financial pressure and may have to pay for treatment again. It’s scary to be in this position, and we’re doing everything we can to get back on track, but anything you could give, even a small amount, would help us get there faster.
