On February 21st 2025, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. So far it has been a full month since his diagnosis, and he's been in excruciating pain. I refrained from making a gofundme since the diagnosis, but we received a couple of the medical bills back from both our local hospitals ER section/ initial testing, and the hospital that he stayed in for 9 days after his surgery, and it isn't looking good. My mom is doing everything she can to make sure there is at least a little bit of income coming into the house, but she is only one person supporting the bankruptcy we are already facing along with the mortgage and utility bills. That isn't including the necessities like food and hygiene products needed for my family and little sister who is not yet self sustaining like my little brother and I. Honestly this is the last thing I wanted to do because I know everyone is struggling right now, but I have no other choice, I am already applying for a second job while also being a full time student. Anything will help, whether it is 1 dollar or .50 cents, anything is better than nothing. I know I don't have much reach putting this on my instagram considering I don't have many people on here, but I am trying my best to support my family and my dad as much as I can.
