Hello family and friends. Me and four of my kids were coming from our vacation from the Dominican Republic and on our way to the airport, we got hit and almost lost our lives. It was a horrible accident. My daughter broke her nose, my son hurt his leg and got stitches on a cut, and I was the worst off. I got 30 stitches on my lip, broke my right leg in two areas, broke my pelvis bone, and my ankle on both sides. Once we were stable, we were brought to the US and I have been hospitalized. I have had two surgeries, one on my pelvis and the other on my ankle. I have been transferred to a Rehabilitation Center to learn how to do everything on one leg because I can't put any pressure on my right leg. My predicted recovery process is expected to take 3 to 6 months. I won't be able to work and my job just gives me uncompensated leave. I won't have any income but the bills still need to be paid. I never like to ask for help but my resources are tight and I need help. Also, I need to pay for the damages to the vehicle in the Dominican Republic.
