Hi, my name is Jesus Ontiveros. I am 36 years old. I am an independent contractor in the city of Denver, Colorado. I graduated from South High School in 2007. I have 3 little girls, ages 9 years, 5 years, and a 4-month-old baby, and a beautiful wife who has been with me through this hard time.

On June 16 of this year, I was driving down Colfax to visit my mother in the city of Aurora. At a red light, I was shot through my window, and one of the bullets hit me in my face. Two guys tried to steal my truck, but somehow I was able to drive away and went straight to the emergency room. I am so lucky to be alive. I am scheduled for rhinoplasty surgery to fix my broken nose and broken eye socket on December 13. I really appreciate your help. God bless America.

I now live day by day with the help of my family and friends. I had to sell most of my equipment and work trucks to survive and keep up with medical bills and the mortgage. I now work on little jobs that I can only handle. Our life changed dramatically from one day to another.
