Help a Family from Ukraine Settle in Keremeos

The Ukraine Nightingale Project has already helped several Ukrainian families settle in the South Okanagan, and we would like your help to welcome and support the Kiladze Family settle in Keremeos. The family of four fled their home in the Ukraine to Georgia, after their farm was burnt down by the Russians. Their trip to Canada had many delays and saw them arriving with one small suitcase each, holding their worldly belongings.

The family was warmly welcomed by kind UNP volunteers. They are so relieved and couldn't be happier with the prospects of a bright future, beyond the reality of war.

They are eager to be independent, but it takes support and a lot of our volunteers' time to help them settle and become self-sufficient. They are very busy learning English, and dealing with government paperwork and applications.

Please help us help them. They are wonderful people who deserve to be safe and free of conflict. Donating as little or as much as you can helps them adapt to a new language, new customs and build a new life.
