Earlier this year I was victim to a housing scam by my mothers husbands side of the family. ‘My cousin’ stole $2200 off of me and my family knew and didn’t help me for 2 months, setting me back finding real housing. I’ve been house hopping since April 1st with my 3 kids due to my relationship with my mother being soured because of her knowledge of the scam during the events of said scam. This lead her to constantly keep kicking my out and putting a tpo on me to keep me and my children and I not having a stable home to stay while I recoup my funds. I do everything all by myself due to most of my true support system being outside of Georgia but it’s getting harder on me at the moment. I’m facing job loss also due to the tpo bc of the allegations my mother put on me and what I do for work. I’m asking for $1.3k just to help pay for this motel and to get to work and school the next month & be apply to apply apartments that accept evictions. Hell even if I can’t stay in Georgia anything will help. I just don’t want my kids to keep struggling bc of my mistakes
