This is an Emergency fund for my family. We've run out of options and have no one else to lean on. Desperation has made it easier for me to do this but the feeling of hopelessness and shame persists. Too many times I've done this and I'm unable to live with myself and not feel disgusted. I'm just trying to do all that I can to keep us together and find a way out of this situation if such a thing is even possible at this point. I feel fate is telling me that it isn't but your kindness and generosity is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
