I am writing on behalf of my friend Akram Alsorani who is from the Gaza Strip, 43 years old and his family with two children, his son Khaled and his daughter Carmen, As they live in a hard living conditions because of the war, bombing is everywhere, no safe places they forced to displaced their area to Rafah in the south as attempt to save their lives , they live in a tent which they can’t survive the bad weather and still under the threatening of the bombs. After threatening military intervention in Rafah by Israeli forces and they occupied Rafah border the only remaining hope for displacement to Egypt thus they displaced to the middle area - Deer-Albalah.
Staying in Gaza during wartime requires immense resilience. It means facing uncertainty, danger, and hardship with unwavering determination. They are refusing to abandon their roots, their community, and their identity despite the chaos surrounding them
As humans, we have the right to live peacefully, I've endured many years of destruction in Gaza. Childhood disappears in the blink of an eye. In Gaza, sleep is uncertain—waking up is not guaranteed, and returning home is a question mark. The fear of losing a family member looms. We wish this war is just a nightmare. Please help us to survive.
