My stepdad and mom are very proud people. For 28 years they have worked together at thier business. Dad has been the main bread winner and took care of my Mom, when she had two bouts of cancer. 2 years ago he got diagnosed with parotid gland Cancer. That started the decline in his ability to work and the slide in financial security. Then 1 year ago he got a second blow and diagnosed with progressive stage 3 hcc liver cancer and non alcohol related cirrhosis (due to fatty liver disease) He tried to still work but soon became unable. They have exhausted all their savings and downsized as much as possible. With medical bills (even after Medicare) and equipment needed to keep him mobile as possible and my mom able to care for him, they have exhausted everything. Asking for help has never been something they have done they just accept their life and keep going. So I'm reaching out now for help with increasing medical bills and equipment so they can use what little they have left over for basic living. Since moving in with me and my disabled (due to being unable to keep up rent) I do what I can to help, but expenses are sky rocketing. At this point after everything is paid over 8,000 in medical expenses still remain as of today. Please keep them in your prayers and help if you can. Thank you in advance.
