This family has lived in our community for years, quietly contributing and caring for others. But because of the ongoing ICE presence in D.C., they live in constant fear of their family being separated. Seeking public help is dangerous for them; that’s why we're sharing their story and asking for help on their behalf.

They’ve fallen behind on rent and are now facing eviction proceedings. With the government shut down and the current climate on those who are not born in this country, assistance is hard to come by, and time is running out. It is vital that they stay in D.C. so their daughter can remain in a school program that meets her medical and educational needs.
