My name is Cass, I’m hoping to raise funds for a currently displaced family of 7. On Nov. 19 at around 5 a.m., the Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a residential structure fire on South Sumas Road. Thankfully my friends and their children were able to get out, and the garage took most of the damage. Unfortunately there’s gonna be smoke and water damage to the home, and currently they aren’t sure if they will be able to return at all. I’m asking for help to raise some money for them as they’re going to need some basics for their children ranging from a couple months-6 years old as well as possibly finding a new home. With the Holliday season being so close I’m really hoping we can help them out after such a scary experience! Thank you everyone in advance!

Nov 20 update: after speaking with their landlord, they have been informed that they will not be able to return to the property due to damages that will take months to repair. With that said they will now be looking for a new home as well as replacing what belongings they can. I’ll keep updating as more info becomes available
