Help a Family after a kitchen Fire

The family has had an emergency. They have lived in this home for 21 years, last week they suffered a kitchen house fire, they have been going through financial hardships and did not have home insurance.

The fire damage was just to the kitchen, but the toxic smoke has covered the entire house making it unsafe for the family of 7 with young children. They have looked into getting a professional cleaning company but the cost is too great and they do not feel comfortable asking for so much.

So they will do the work themselves. They have been working hard to get all the burnt items out of the home and also cleaning up what they can. All their belongings are getting moved out into tents outside in the driveway. They need your help with anything you can offer so they can buy cleaning supplies at Home Depot to do all the work themselves it's the cheapest way to get it done.

They need to purchase the supplies a steam cleaner the cleaning supplies and a special smoke sealing paint after all the cleaning. Drywall and supplies, the area where the stove once was and All the cabinets are destroyed. They need to have an electrician evaluate if it is safe to put a stove or if it needs rewiring repairs. We do not know the damage yet but there is visible damage that the chief of the fire department told them to not turn the power in the kitchen on until it has been deemed safe.

They also need to pay to get rid of all the waste. We are hoping to raise enough money to get the cleaning supply, waste removal, electrical in the kitchen, and a stove for the family. Anything left over will continue to go towards making this home safe and liveable for this family.
