Help the family of Desiree Owen’s after tragic loss

Im raising funds for my best friends family. She was 24 with three beautiful babies and a loving husband who is still needing treatment for serious injuries. So far what we know is there was construction on the highway causing her and her husband to hit something that caused them to veer off the road and crash. She was pronounced dead on the scene on October 23rd. I’m sorry if this is informal, I’m still in shock that this is even real. She was such a loving and beautiful person. We were sisters and she saved me in my darkest times when I had no one. It feels like such an unnecessary loss in the world. I’m devastated and in disbelief that she’s gone. But I know I’m still losing the least compared to the family that has to go on without her. I want to help them in any way. I know it won’t be easy on them to afford the funeral and her husbands surgeries so anything would help. We don’t know when the service will be yet but Im assuming around this next weekend so again anything helps.

11/1/24 I just want to update here and thank everyone for their kindness and generosity. I want to cry every time I look and see how fast we hit the goal 3000. I guess it just feels like the world is seeing and grieving for the loss as well in a weird way but also honoring her memory.... And we do have an update on the services, it should be next Saturday. Thank you all again for your kindness, god bless. We don’t have enough for the headstone but if we can reach $6000 the services should be payed for.

11/9 Again thank you to everyone who has donated. Just to give an update, the services are paid for for the most part but funds are still need for the husbands surgeries and her headstone so any further donations will go towards that. And once everything is paid or after a while has passed I will close out the fundraising.
