I***, a parent at my school with 3 US-born children under the age of 10, has been regularly attending her immigration appointments. At her last one, the first in the new administration, she was advised she was under a deportation order (she has no criminal record). She cannot work ,so she is being evicted. My neighbor has loaned me an RV for the family to live in so she doesn't have to pay rent. She has contacted an immigration lawyer who has told her because she has proof of being a domestic violence survivor, she has a case for a stay of deportation. She was quoted an amount of $3000. She has saved $700. We are looking for $2300 to make up the difference. Can you help I*** do everything she possibly can to keep her family from being separated?
