My name is Joshua Dale Lewis and I am a testicular cancer survivor.
After my fearless battle against testicular cancer, and losing my “Timmy.” I am now known as a “one nut wonder” to my sons, still learning how to walk upright without leaning to the right, and trying hard to regain my manhood.
I have spent 17 long weeks of tireless research, stat analysis, injury reports, waiver-wire wizardry, and confidently explaining things nobody asked about… I have lost my fantasy football league.
To my wife.
A woman who:
- Drafted players based on “good vibes” and liking the players names
- Started a quarterback because she “liked his smile”
- Asked, ”What does a bye week mean?” in Week 9
Meanwhile, I was in the lab. Watching film. Reading spreadsheets. Whispering matchup stats to myself at 1:00 a.m. like a man on a mission.
And yet… here we are.
This GoFundMe is not about money.
(It’s definitely about money and trying to recover my manhood.)
Funds will be used for:
- Emotional recovery snacks (aka my trip to ihop for 24 hour pancakes)
- Replacing my shattered fantasy ego
- Buying my wife the trophy she will never let me forget
- Therapy every Sunday at 1pm next season
Any donation helps. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing or publicly acknowledging that luck is undefeated and fantasy football is a cruel, beautiful lie.
Thank you for supporting a man who did everything right and still lost to someone who started her draft with a quarterback.
