Help a Driver's Family Through Heart Surgery

I'm a Commercial Driver required to maintain a Medical Certification. I'm required every two years to have a Heart Stress Test, and the results detected a minor issue when my heart was at high stress. My cardiologist performed a Heart Cath Procedure, discovering I need to have a five-way Heart Bypass. I was completely caught off guard, as I have been feeling better than I have for a long time.

My last day worked was February 4, and now I'm receiving short-term disability, losing about 70% of my income. My heart procedure was originally scheduled for March 19 but had to be rescheduled to April 23 due to complications with my diabetes. I'm stressed because I don't know how I can financially survive this without help. I have new medications, co-pays, and I have to pay my insurance premiums, or I lose my short-term disability and insurance coverage.

I'm in need of assistance financially and was encouraged to do a GoFundMe. My family and I would be very appreciative for whatever help we can receive, as my income is the only income for the family.
