My name is Keila Yuwono. I'm a current student with no family in the United States.

I am reaching out for help during one of the most challenging times of my life. I suffered a manual strangulation, which left me with PTSD and at risk of becoming homeless in Washington, DC. On top of this, I was kicked out of the house where I was renting because I have been dealing with court matters every two weeks, seeking justice for what happened to me. The emotional and physical impact of these events has made it incredibly difficult to maintain stability, and I am doing everything I can to get back on my feet.

Right now, I am working a part-time job, but I have not yet received my first paycheck. I am hoping to use the funds raised to book a month at I Street Capsule Hostel in Washington, DC, so I have a safe place to stay while I save up money to rent a place in my own name. This support will help me cover my basic living expenses and give me the stability I need to recover and rebuild. Your kindness and generosity will help me bridge this gap and give me hope for a better future.

I am deeply grateful for any support you can offer. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to stability and safety.
