Help injured Ukrainian Oleg Moskalenko and family

I want to share the story of a Ukrainian family that recently fled the war in Ukraine. This is the family of my best friend of over 30 years, Oleg Moskalenko, who is also my daughter's godfather.
They lived in Severynivka, Kyiv Oblast, a town not far from Bucha. When the Russians got very close and the fighting intensified, they fled without any belongings to western Ukraine and, shortly after that, to Poland. Oleg stayed back to volunteer, but soon decided to return to their house in Severynivka. We lost communication with Oleg on March 7th and after three days his car was found burned on the road near Yasnohorodka (screenshot of the remainder of his car from YouTube video attached). There was no sign of Oleg. After another grueling five days, he was finally discovered in very serious condition at a hospital in Fastiv.
He was ambushed and imprisoned by Russian soldiers when driving toward Severynivka. Oleg was beaten and tortured for eight days by the soldiers and forced to spend nights in subzero temperatures. I do not want to describe all the horrific details for the sake of the family, but we are lucky he made it through alive. After the Russians released them, it took him, with the help of other hero, another two days to get to safety and then to the hospital in the city of Fastiv, Ukraine. With the help of friends and family, on March 17th he was transported to a hospital in Munich, Germany where he is currently undergoing surgeries every other day on his hands and feet, treatment of craniocerebral damage, and other wounds. He still awaits multiple treatments and a very lengthy rehabilitation period. As of today, he has had two fingers on each hand, one third of his right foot and three toes on left foot amputated.
The family's house was robbed and destroyed by Russian soldiers. All their valuables were stolen, their car was destroyed, and walls defaced. They have no source of income now and are running out of money for basic needs.
I am asking for your generosity to help me raise money for this family to pay for Oleg’s medical bills and rehabilitation and help provide them with the basics. I would be forever grateful for anything you can spare to help an amazing and kind family facing the tragedies of this unjust war against peaceful people. Thank you and God bless you.
