I lost my husband of 34 years 6 months ago to cancer. Now I'm being evicted by his best friend Ray, 30+ years of friendship and because Robert trusted Ray they made verbal contract. When Robert got sick he asked to have the contact put in writing and was told we could do that but Ray never gave us anything to sign always putting it off. We put down $15,000 of my inheritance when we made the agreement. I was told Ray needed money to pay off his property without it they were going to lose their home so it was a way to help each other.

We'd made monthly payments since 2022.

Now they are evicting me saying they no longer have to honor the agreement because Robert passed.

I'm 100% disabled and was receiving SSI until I receiving my Widows benefits, I lost my SSI leaveing me with $1500 a month to live on I also lost my healthcare because I make to much money. I have chronic kidney disease and will soon need dialysis, congestive heart failure, diabetes, CPTSD, bipolar depression, I use a walker due to my degenerative disc disease, bulging discs, and pinched nerves in my lumbar and sacral spine. So I

need healthcare. I was forced off the road into a curb by another driver so now my car has a broken front shock, and I need $410 to fix it. I'm without transportation and facing homelessness.

I lost my mom in 2020 to Alzheimer's complications. I was her caregiver. Then my dad got sick and passed from myocarditis complications. I cared for him until he passed in 2023. Then, a year later my husband got cancer. He passed February 1st, 2026. I'm grieving, trying to cope the best I can.
