My childhood best friend Matt is a disabled military veteran and a devoted single father of two. He has always worked hard to provide for his children, but now he is facing unimaginable hardship.

Tragically, his oldest son Garrett took his own life on October 3rd 2025 at just 19 years old. On top of this devastating loss, my friend is at risk of losing his home and is in the process of filing for bankruptcy due to the rising cost of living. Now, he must also find a way to pay for his son’s funeral—something no parent should ever have to endure.

He served our country for four years, and now he needs our help.
