I am a disabled and chronically ill trans woman currently living in Chicago. Over the last several months, I have had increasing issues getting my care needs met for my disabilities as well as some insecurity around finding housing while trying to move out from a bad roommate situation. I have a partner who currently lives in the Denver area and she and I have decided that it would probably be best if I went ahead and moved out there both so that I'll have a stable living situation (she owns a home with her platonic nesting partners) and also so that I can hopefully get more help with my disabilities. Unfortunately, we need help being able to afford moving expenses as we are both low-income. The total amount I'm looking to raise includes covering the cost of the uhaul as well as gas along the way there.
