Help a Disabled Non-binary Immigrant Stay Housed

Marie is a 20 year old bright, non-binary soul from the DR living in NYC. Recently, Marie was suspended from their job due to their status in this country. Though Marie has tried time and time again to renew their permanent residency and it had been approved, USCIS sent their documents to the incorrect address over a year ago, a mistake made by USCIS that they have yet to fix and have been negligent to do so. Now, Marie is stuck without work, without access to their legal documents, and without any income. Being desperate to work for themself, they are working toward getting an ID, which will take about 3 months since the next available appointment in all five boroughs is in August. Their best friends and partner have put together this crowdfund for Marie and hope to bring in some money for their survival in this country for the next few months. Marie also has epilepsy, which is a very pricey and a very strict disability to have, and due to having quite a few seizures these past few months and a lengthy hospital visit, they have medical bills they are indebted to. They also have medication that they need to take twice daily in order to live without interruptions and traumas that their seizures can cause.
All the money from this crowdfund will go toward keeping their housing secured, their belly full, paying off their medical bills, and their mandatory life-saving medication.
Please consider contributing to the survival of this bright, wonderful person. If nothing else, please boost and send good energy to them as they can really use it. Thank you for reading so far, we will be actively updating this as their journey goes along. And thank you for contributing and boosting. We really appreciate it.
