My amazing friend is an anti-racist organizer, truth slayer, and dear colleague and she is in dire need of a new electric wheelchair. Her chair is broken and no longer safe, which has caused her to fall multiple times.

She and I have worked together for over 7 years and throughout this friendship and professional relationship, I’ve seen her give her heart and soul to the work of ending homelessness.

She is often in and out of hospitals and emergency rooms, fighting to survive, heart attacks and infections. But she still makes time to love on the people who are in positions to help our unsheltered neighbors. She values the people that have been forgotten on the streets, wanting to help make them whole again.

She has shared her journey out of homelessness with 100’s of people we’ve trained. Each time, it is a gift and many trainees report it is one of the most impactful aspects of the experience.

Please help me support this wonderful person who needs an electric wheelchair that will allow her to maneuver around in the world. I know personally how devastating it can be to be unable to leave your home. It is frustrating, painful and profoundly isolating - and many more emotions! My beautiful friend deserves to be able to leave her home, safely maneuver in small spaces like grocery stores, and have a chair that can fold and take up less space in her apartment.

She gives until she is broken and often with tears of hope rolling down her cheeks doing her HEART WORK but never being compensated for it. Will you help me reach her goal so she can keep loving on 1000,s who need to hear her truth.
