Help a disabled dad get back fund lost to scams

I am a father of two that went through a tough divorce this past year, losing custody of my kids, and ultimately undergoing a neurological event tied to Bipolar I, lupus, and sjogrens disease in November 2024 as a result of the ongoing financial and physical stress brought on by the situation.  This combination of illnesses has also had me on disability the past year as well facing a myriad of symptoms that have been difficult to treat unfortunately further limiting my work options, ability to use my PhD to its full capacity, and ability to truly keep up in life while I navigate the disability system and await approvals and payments.

While ill during November 2024 I was unfortunately delusional due to an autoimmune flare up with manic features for nearly two weeks as a result and sadly isolated from family that could get me the help I needed.  During this flare up, among other challenges, I was scammed out of a significant amount of the money twice as my neurological symptoms were taken advantage of.

I also somehow caused minor damage to my apartment that requires repair without recollection before being fully stabilized with medications after finally being picked up and evaluated by doctors due to my weird actions throughout my flare up compared to my normal baseline. Even worse is I have little to no recollection of the event to this day, having to rely on my bank statements and text messages to piece together what happened. The shame and embarrassment has also been challenging to say the least being so out of my character otherwise.

One scam incident was a remote work job scam the other a romance scam initiated via my Google chats.

I just would like to keep a roof over my head at this point, begin the process of declaring bankruptcy from the financial fallout of my divorce, and stay in my kids life while seeking and hopefully soon transitioning back into stable work, downsizing in life. Getting this money back would be the miracle I really need to help in that goal. I really appreciate anything to help me out as I navigate life through this unforeseen tough spot.
