Help a disabled CSA survivor get back on her feet
Hi there! I'm a disabled CSA survivor who's been bouncing from one abusive situation to the next since I left home at 16. I finally have a chance to get to an actually safe and stable and *accessible* living situation soon with a tried-and-tested friend who I know for sure will actually be a good influence on me and help me recover rather than seeing someone vulnerable and exploiting me further like everyone else I've tried to live with, but I just need a little bit more help to get there!
I'm currently stuck with a mentally & financially abusive roommate who has slowly drained all my accounts and maxed out my credit cards while we've been living together. My tenancy agreement doesn't end for another 3 months but I don't think I can cope with continuing to live here that long, so I need money for:
My share of the deposit and first month's rent on the new place. ~£1000
Moving van & movers ~£500
And if we can manage it, 3 months rent on this place so I can buy out of my tenancy agreement and move out early. £1350
And I rounded up to £3000 because gofundme & paypal take a %
Anything extra I get will go towards paying off the £8k credit card debt I've amassed trying to survive over the past few years through homelessness and abuse.
I can't tell you how much it would mean to me to finally be in a safe place where I can start to heal from the now-decades of abuse. It is so frustrating being so close to safety finally and finally having chosen family I want to live with but just not being able to afford the initial move. There is so much I want to be able to do with my life and I feel like it has all just been put on hold for so incredibly long but I can just see it over the horizon now and it's taunting me so much! Please help if you can, either by donating or sharing - I would be so eternally grateful!
