Hello, my name is Tanya Smith, and I am a single mother as well as a full-time caregiver for my disabled son.

I am currently going through a very difficult situation that has placed a huge amount of financial strain on my family and me. For four years, my disabled child has lacked access to education and specialist assistance, despite clear needs being left without appropriate support, leading to measurable development regression, leaving me with no other option but to take the local authority to court to secure the support he is legally entitled to. Unfortunately these expenses are more than I alone can cover and that’s why I am asking for your help.

This has not been an easy decision. Asking for help is something I never thought I would have to do, but at this point, I truly need assistance to get through this period and regain stability.
