im an 19 year old from the US. i currently live with my mom, sister, and father. my dad is emotionally, verbally, and physically abusive to all of us. im disabled, i suffer from long covid and many other co+ such as celiac disease, dysautonomia, depression, ADHD, autism etc. we live in a very rural town with little work opportunities. i am a full time student at UBC and this burden is causing me to consider dropping out due to my studies being neglected. this fundraiser is to help the three of us get a car and/or legal aid to get him out of the house so the three of us can stay here.

my mom is the full time caretaker of my 16 year old sister who has down syndrome, making her unable to work. we solely rely on my fathers veterans disability income to live, which is already barely enough. we have 5 cats who are not able to be cared for by my father alone, and considered emotional support animals.
